Digital Audition Steps and Guidelines

Global Pageant – Mrs. Queen of India Introducing the first-ever Digital Audition keeping in mind the current scenario on COVID – 19.

The Digital Audition would take place in two phases:-

First Phase – Task to complete in a given time (Time & date Limit is given for each task in order to prepare you for future international pageants)

Second Phase – Q & Answer Round and Final Selection round with judges conducted online through video conference)

Note:- In order to avoid any miss management each and every contestant need to book their final round slot through the Website.

The task to Complete for the Digital audition

The Contestant has to submit given tasks with given Rounds, instructions, and guidelines.

INTRODUCTION ROUND  –  Self Introduction

The contestant must introduce themselves through a one-minute-long video. Explaining what inspired you to participate in Mrs. Queen of India. The introduction should include basic details such as name, age, native place, current occupation (employed/business), hobbies, talents, and ambition. And send it to Global Pageant Organization through email only. ( No video will be excepted through Whatsapp)

Instructions: At the Time of Recording the Introduction Video the contestant should be in a proper setting position with the contestant facing the camera/mobile, with proper visibility up to the waist. You have to record the video in a noise-free environment so that the audio is clear, Candidate should be the only person in the video. Candidates can wear any comfortable outfits. The language can be either English or Hindi.

OUTFIT ROUND – Outfit Look

The candidate has to present themselves in three videos wearing a different outfit in each of the videos and send all the three videos to the Global Pageant Organization. The candidate is expected to create three different styles through this challenge. Global Pageant encourages you to be creative and present them in a stylish, fashionable manner to show the World the DIVA in you.

Outfit 1: Western Outfit  /  Outfit 2: Saree  / Outfit 3: Ethnic Indian outfit (excluding saree)

These are three videos of a maximum 60-second duration each and should be uploaded separately  or can mail to Us at hello.globalpageant@gmail.com

Instructions: Each Video should position itself so that the camera captures head to toe. Makeup & Styling should complement outfits. The contestant is expected to pose, move and choreograph themselves for the video. Avoid standing static & still throughout the duration of the video. Avoid using filters, few transitions are permitted. Do not include watermarks. The videos should be in landscape mode.

WALK AROUND – Walk showcase Round to see your way of presenting yourself and make you feel more comfortable & Confident before the D – Day!

Candidates should send a one-minute duration video of them performing a walk to the music assigned by the organizers. You will need to place the camera such that it can film you, walking at least 7 steps towards the camera, stand and pose, turn and walk away at least 7 steps, stand, pose, and be done. Choreograph, and walk as though on a fashion ramp.

Instructions: The candidate should be visible in the camera frame for the entire duration. Should be visible head to toe in the far-away shots and is permitted to focus on the head, shoulders, and hands in the close up while posing. Avoid using filters, no transition of video effects is allowed. No text or watermarks are allowed. The video should be in landscape mode.

FITNESS CHALLENGE ROUND – Make your goal your lifestyle and become fit like never before!

In this task, the contestant is expected to perform and create an inspiring one-minute video about their physical fitness routines and abilities. You can perform any physical task such as perform yoga postures, gym workouts, aerobics sessions, exercises, sports, athletics, martial arts, or any physical form of body workout and record it in a video and send it to the global pageant organization. Suitable background music is preferred but is optional. The video content should be creative, inspiring and should hint at your commitment to health.

Instructions: Contestants are required to be visible throughout the duration of the video. There should be no ambiguity on who has performed in the video. Avoid using filters, no transition of video effects is allowed. No text or watermarks are allowed. The video should be in the landscape. Some camera movements are allowed.

TALENT ROUND – Talent Showcase

In this task, the candidate needs to upload a one-minute video presenting any of your talents, which can be performed in front of the camera. It can include any indoor or outdoor solo performance. Talents can include dance performance, singing, solo instrumental performance, recitation, mono-act, mimicry, cooking, biking, painting (executed in front of the camera), elocution, etc. Ensure that the performance is safe, responsible, and hazard-free.

Instructions: The camera should be angled such that there is no confusion about who has performed the act. Ideally, the frame should cover head to toe. Candidates can do the make-up and styling, required for the performances. Keep the camera so that you are visible. Avoid using filters, no transition of video effects is allowed. No text or watermarks are allowed. The video should be in Landscape mode. Candidates can upload a maximum of 3 videos of 1-minute duration each if they want to showcase multiple talents. Camera movements are not allowed. Candidates should post the following as a social media caption: #MrsQueenofindiaAudition #Mrsqueenofindia #Mrsqueenofindia2023 Candidates should post the video on their social profiles (Instagram – Facebook).

Phase – II 

Final Round of Selection for the Finalist

INTERVIEW ROUND  –  Q & Answer asked by the panel of Judges

The jury panel will ask questions related topic of knowing more about you as a future “QUEEN”, Your vision behind participating, General Knowledge & situation-based.

Instructions: At the Time of the Interview the contestant should be in a proper setting position with the candidate facing the camera/mobile, with proper visibility. At the time of the Interview, the contestant must be in a noise-free environment so that the audio is clear, Candidate should be the only person at the time of the Interview. Candidates can wear comfortable outfits. (Suggested: No loungewear and Home casual wear) The language can be either English or Hindi.
